Dairy-free Pimento Cheese
Ingredients:
- 8oz vegan cheddar cheese
- 8 oz of dairy-free cream cheese
- 1/4 cup of vegan mayo
- 4oz diced pimentos
- 3/4 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tbsp onion salt
- 1/4 tsp garlic and onion herb blend (optional - here's the brand I used)
- 1/4 tsp of salt
- Pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Combine the dairy-free cream cheese, vegan mayo, and vegan cheddar cheese with a hand or standing mixer (if you do not have a mixer, chop the cheese with a knife before mixing and combine with a silicone spatula). Beat until combined well
- Next, add in pimentos (including the liquid), and the seasonings. Mix again for 15 seconds
- Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of an hour
- Serve as a dip, on a burger, in a wrap, on a sandwich, or with toasted bread
