Riquisimo was the first restaurant my friends and I ate at while in Cartegena, Colombia and I can probably count on both hands how many times we went back there during our visit. They had a little bit of everything and all of it tasted amazing. Great food and great service, Riquisimo did not disappoint.
i ordered beans, rice, a veggie kabob and plantains.
One thing I learned while in Colombia is that veggies are their thing and piecing together a meal is not hard. At Loalla, I ordered everything A La Carte. Pictured to the left is tubulle, spinach empanadas and fried plantain.
While in Colombia, my friends and I took a day trip to Medellin and learned a ton about the history of the city. We also participated in a free walking tour (guided by Real City Tours) where we stumbled across a vegetarian/vegan restaurant named Govindas. What you see here is a potato and veggie ball packed with lots of flavor.
The name of the restaurant spoke for the food, D-Licious! Under the massive pile of delicious sauteed veggies (peppers, onions, spinach) was brown rice. This was an option on the menu, so no need to order a la carte here.
